After raising capital of €70 million in 2022, Telecom Design is continuing to expand into new markets.

In this context, we are expanding our team and are looking for a Project Manager in Product development and industrialization.

Purpose of the job.

From Request for Quotation until handover to production site, the project manager has the overall responsibility of his/hers projects in all aspects:

• Lead program team as functional manager, with an entrepreneurial mindset

• Meet financial targets (Gross Margin, Non-Recurrent Engineering costs)

• Ensure customer satisfaction (timing, quality, costs, product performance…)

• Plan and execute all activities which contribute to project success

• Protect TELECOM DESIGN interests and image

Responsibilities

(S)he has to:

• Secure staffing of the Project Team and external resources/functions in due time

• Build and monitor Master Schedule

• Achieve project targets through development and cascade program objectives and assignments to team

members

• Monitor permanently convergence to financial expectations

• Manage the Project team and ensure cooperation with the functions and the plant(s),

• Apply 6-Gates Project Management System (with successful and on time achievement of work packages, mandatory deliverables and key project milestones)

• Identify risks and opportunities. Ensure risk management and alert process.

• Arbitrate top issues internally or externally within the project,

• Act as official TELECOM DESIGN Project representative towards the customer to support its expectations while preserving company from risk exposure (like Engineering Change, planning…)

• Support commercial negotiations for contract evolutions

• Communicate and report relevant projects status to secure proper management support on program issues

• Ensure that project experience is capitalized to improve future programs’ performance

The ideal candidate will have/be:

Education

• Master’s degree in engineering

Experience

• Experience in Engineering or Quality or Purchasing or Manufacturing in an industrial sector (Consumer Electronical sector as a nice to have)

• Demonstrate product and process engineer experience

• Team management experience

• Experience in budget control and profit enhancement

• Seniority: 3 to 5 years experience in the functions above.

Nice to have

• International experience

Technical skills

• Knowledge of quality tools (FMEA, 8D problem solving skills)

• Project management knowledge in matrix organization

• Ability to develop strong customer relationships

• English fluent

• Spanish as a nice to have.
