Lead SaaS Python Developer

Our customers are located worldwide and we are playing in the fast moving mobile ecosystem. esChecker is a product designed to disrupt the security testing of mobile applications with providing services to automate the security testing and manage the processes related to the compliance of an app to the guidances and regulations.

Based on the latest technologies of web and mobile development as well as cloud infrastructure, the mission is to lead the development of the complete production in an industrial manner from technical specifications to delivery.

This position is particularly dedicated to passionate senior software engineers, keen to take the responsibility of a full development program composed of a group of experts. You will join a dynamic environment, with agile development.
Your day-to-day at eShard for this position
You are in charge of leading the development of the program. For this, you schedule every task and make sure they are delivered in due time. A quick review with the team will be necessary to get everything lined up. You are strongly involved in the development tasks and you are striving to make your code clean and efficient.

You take the architectural lead on a new exciting feature, and you will involve the technical management to make sure that your new design will fit the internal vision and the customer needs. During efficient and crisp meetings with your team, you quickly grasp how it should be implemented and who could do it. Then you create a detailed issue that you add to a future milestone in gitlab and you will be able to follow-up the good delivery of the fix. You are the owner of the software roadmap and you make sure that it is properly communicated to the relevant persons.

You will finish your day by approving a few merge requests as you are accountable for all developments in this program.

You mainly work from our office in Pessac, France; it’s important to have a place of work to meet and hang out. Parts of a project may require interacting with customers all over the world. Our office culture is highly technical, our organisation fairly flat and our mindset flexible.
